Digital Producer

As a member of a fast-paced, top-10 UK digital agency, Producer at Onespacemedia is a linchpin role designed to help guide and support an outstanding digital technology team to design and deliver industry-leading websites and applications.

Reporting to the Head of Production, the Producer helps clients to define and shape original creative visions and then manages the delivery process, ensuring products are on-time, on-spec and on-budget.

As well as driving day-to-day production, Onespacemedia’s producers also provide assistance in driving the organisation’s business development and operations efforts. This also extends to liaising directly with new client leads during initial meetings - either independently or as part of a project team.

Onespacemedia producers also manage relationships with freelance partners where projects require - helping to align internal and external resourcing with client delivery schedules.

Project delivery

  • Champion collaboration, teamwork and responsibility - you'll motivate the production team to own and bring first class, domain-specific solutions to the table.
  • Pitch in on site build-out and the QA process where required, leading complex content phases to completion.
  • Understand the fine commercial balance between fighting back and when to absorb a client request - focusing on providing a great client experience.

Commercial delivery

  • Identify potential business opportunities in line with the skills of the team, client requirements, and developments within the industry.
  • Provide help in optimising internal commercial activities (such as time-tracking and budgeting).

  • A solid agile project manager, comfortable managing multiple streams of project information, and synchronising and mobilising the resources needed to get things done.
  • Experience with Scrum in a digital production environment - more specifically using Trello.
  • An expert written and verbal communicator - focusing on clear, comprehensive information where it’s needed to keep a project’s momentum up.
  • Capable of striking the balance between problem-solving, diplomacy and an excellent customer experience.
  • Comfortable negotiating complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
  • A good technology generalist with a good understanding of mobile hardware platforms.

  • Exposure to the Adobe Creative Cloud suite of applications, with working knowledge of InDesign and Photoshop.
  • Experience with cloud-based project management systems such as Basecamp, Harvest
  • Experience with photography, image processing and video formats.
  • An understanding of the software development process.

  • Naturally pro-active and practical under pressure.

  • A problem solver with a positive attitude - and an appreciation for Onespacemedia’s commercial obligations and reputation for excellence.
  • A professional commitment to quality and transparency, working in the interest of our clients and partners.
  • A team player who isn’t afraid to influence wider company discussions and support and mentor others if the opportunity arises.

  • 4+ years commercial (and preferably, agency) experience in a project management or creative/technical production role.
  • Creative, technical or multimedia degree preferable (Graphic Design, Multimedia Production or another artistic or technology discipline) - but not essential.
  • Some experience with agile software development methodologies preferred but not essential.
  • A relevant project management qualification preferred but not essential.
