Founded by veteran entrepreneurs Steve Greaves and John Porter, Cambridge-based wireless company CCS has developed an innovative solution to the growing strain on mobile infrastructure.
The explosion in mobile data is overwhelming the networks, especially in urban areas. CCS has solved the problem by developing a unique, small footprint, high-performance, flexible and self-organising (SON) microwave backhaul system.
We started working with CCS in 2011, when we helped the company with its brand and first website. Over the last two years the company has been steadily expanding and has attracted significant investment across two rounds. A start-up of the year accolade at the 2013 Business Weekly Awards sums up CCS's rapid expansion.
CCS recently exhibited at Mobile World Congress 2013 in Barcelona, a summit featuring technological developments, market opportunities, and devices which are shaping mobile communications. In one of the largest expo venues in the world CCS had to make sure that their stand stood out and that they had materials to hand out to interested visitors. Enter the Onespacemedia design team, who delivered an eye-catching and reusable exhibition stand, a glossy brochure and an animated presentation that would be constantly rolling on a large screen incorporated into the stand design.
We look forward to seeing CCS grow and working with them to provide an integrated approach across other creative disciplines.
