2014 highlights: A look back at a great year at Onespacemedia

As we move swiftly through early 2015, we've taken the opportunity to look back at some of our highlights of the last year.

We're a small but ambitious team, and welcoming new staff members into our fast-paced, creative mix is always a big decision. In 2014, we were fortunate enough to welcome Dan and Chiara aboard to bolster our production team and help to deliver some of our best work.

Our work was recognised by industry experts!

Consistent with all of the services that we offer is a commitment to excellence that reflects our team's passion for digital technology. Our awards are testament to our shared mission to deliver world-class digital products. This year, we were nominated for a Lovie Award, were named as the top-client rated agency in Cambridge (for our size) in The Drum's Independent Agencies Census, and took a top ten spot in Business Weekly’s New Year Honours ‘Image Makers’ list.

Churchill College

Reinvented brand positioning & responsive web design for leading educator, generating over 60,000 lines of code!

Churchill College, part of the University of Cambridge and a leading educational institution, appointed Onespacemedia to reimagine its web presence. In a highly inclusive process that involved a wide range of stakeholders we reinvented the way that the college presents itself and provided a range of tools that would both help them to manage the institution’s activities and allow them to communicate with their audiences more effectively.

Camfed Seasonal Appeal 2014

Launched an emotive and immersive state-of-the-art campaign to drive donations for girls' education charity, Camfed

Inspirational girls' education and women's empowerment charity, Camfed turned to Onespacemedia to design and deliver its 2014 seasonal appeal. Focusing on individual stories of girls and young women who are supported by Camfed, the campaign combines traditional storytelling with state-of-the-art web design and technology to create an evocative and highly-immersive experience that motivates visitors to donate.

Money Mover

Created a digital platform that enables customers to transfer millions in funds, globally

Innovative fintech start-up Money Mover approached Onespacemedia at the end of 2013 to help them develop their brand, communications strategy, marketing website and the core product - a web application that allows businesses and professionals to convert currency and transfer it around the world without paying exorbitant bank fees.

Mercia Technologies

Within a short timescale we created a modern AIM-ready website for leading technology commercialisation company

Mercia Technologies PLC, a Midlands based leader in the funding and commercialisation of technology businesses in the UK, commissioned Onespacemedia to plan, design and build a responsive, CMS-powered website in time for the companies AIM IPO. Delivered in a very tight timescale, this elegant corporate website boasts a suite of modern features including coporate videos, interactive timelines, investment graphs and real-time investor relations tools that include share price graphs and live regulatory news feeds.

Essen Bioscience

Designed and built an innovative platform for global biotech company, Essen Bioscience

Essen BioScience is a rapidly-growing global biotechnology company headquartered in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The company commissioned Onespacemedia to completely reimagine its digital presence to promote its innovative cell-based assay instrumentation, reagents and protocols. As well as creating a market-leading responsive design we also developed a website management system that provides Essen BioScience with a powerful suite of tools to manage its digital presence.

Imperial Innovations

Launched our second site for Imperial Innovations - the UK's leading technology investment company

Imperial Innovations, the UK’s leading technology commercialisation and investment company, commissioned Onespacemedia to redesign its web presence. Building on the success of our initial redesign for the company in 2012 we worked with Imperial Innovations again to bring the site up to modern trends and standards with a particular focus on responsive development to better serve mobile and tablet users.

Bidwells

Provided consultation and UX/UI design for top property consultancy, Bidwells

Leading UK property consultants Bidwells turned to Onespacemedia to help put the human touch on their corporate intranet. Bidnet, a custom-built web application, keeps a dispersed team of almost 500 people connected across 13 offices in England and Scotland. The 2014 relaunch of Bidnet saw a complete redesign of the platform with a far greater emphasis on creating connections between Bidwells staff. Onespacemedia provided consulting and UX and UI design to ensure that the new platform was intuitive and enjoyable to use.

In conclusion

Being able to name some of the UK's most innovative organisations among our 2014 client roster is a pleasure and a privilege.
