The new Arecor website was the product of a collaborative planning and design round that involved a wide group of stakeholders from across the company. The information architecture is based on a simple two-tier hierarchy and horizontal and vertical navigation schemes provide an easy and intuitive way for users to find what they are looking for. Visually the site has been designed to sit comfortablly in the life sciences sector and with its simple typography and use of white space this is achieved. The colour scheme and other elements such as information carousels were inspired by the Arecor logo. A content management system completes the package and provides a range of powerful online tools from which staff can manage the website.
