Research & discovery

We engage in an inclusive round of research and discovery before beginning any design or technical commission. Utilising a variety of information gathering techniques we seek to define the project goals and the route to success. Information architecture & content strategy

Website hierarchies, navigation, labeling, calls-to-action, style and voice - defining these website attributes at the beginning of the project ensures that the design and technical phases proceed smoothly.

Wireframing & rapid prototyping

Developing a shared understanding of how a website is going to work is critical. Discussions and write-ups only go so far and are open to interpretation. To better demonstrate how a website is going to work, we employ a variety of techniques to plan website layout and functionality - traditional methods such as whiteboards, post-it notes, sketches and software tools such as Balsamiq to generate clickable mock-ups or Omnigraffle to plan site hierarchies.

User interface design

We are committed to producing elegant, compelling and user-centric designs. We use a variety of skills and techniques to create beautiful page layouts and assets that encompass all of the techniques the modern web has to offer. Our designers will utilise all of the learning and planning from previous phases and create elegant, on-brand user interface designs using software packages including Adobe Photoshop.

Content development

Clear, engaging and concise copy is critical to keeping your audience engaged. Our content producers are highly experienced in copy-writing for the web and will work with you to repurpose or rewrite your content inline with the agreed content strategy

Technical development

Whether your project is a static or content-managed site, our technical team will develop elegant, lightweight code that controls the look and feel, and functionality of your website. See our technical development section for more information on our approach. 

Testing & deployment

All Onespacemedia websites and applications are subject to a vigorous round of testing and quality assurance prior to deployment. Training & handover

Successful websites need good management. Whilst out websites and applications are simple to use by design, we will work with your team to ensure the team has everything they need from training to documentation in order to take responisbility for the website going forward.

Measuring success

How do we measure your return on investment? We use a variety of tools and techniques to monitor and evaluate the performance of your website including user feedback, website traffic metrics, conversion rates,  online revenue figures and search engine rankings. We will provide you with shared access to our tools so you can monitor progress in real-time.
