The Centre for Science & Policy approached us to replace their legacy CRM system and embark on an ambitious website project that would allow them to deliver their vision of better connecting members of the scientific community.

In-depth research

We had a series of meetings with CSaP stakeholders to better understand their vision before developing a technical specification that would form the foundation of the project.

Rapid systems design

We built a prototype of the CRM system using the Django framework which allowed us to rapidly demonstrate functionality and user interface components. We worked closely with CSaP during this process, getting sign-off for features as we built them. This process was further streamlined by our web-based project management system.

Design

We leveraged the all-new University of Cambridge website design guidelines and templates to build out the front-end of the website whilst simultaneously road-testing the kit on a real project. The results were outstanding.

Handover and training

We held workshops time with CSaP staff to ensure that they were properly trained before handing over the running of the site.

Progressive enhancements

We continue to work with CSaP to build new functionality as their business needs evolve.
