The latest intern to join the Onespacemedia internship programme is Brazilian graphic design student, Felipe Gomes. With a natural talent for design, Felipe has gained hands-on experience through internships and freelance projects over the last two years.
He is particularly interested in software and typography and is keen to develop his skills in a commercial environment, while improving his business language skills. In the longer term Felipe plans to complete an MA in design and pursue his interest in social entrepreneurship.
Felipe received a scholarship to study at Anglia Ruskin University from the Brazilian government as part of Science Without Borders - a study programme which allows students to complete the final year of their degree course oversees. His second loves are music and philosophy.
"I was attracted to Onespacemedia because of the range of innovative solutions that they provide for their clients" said Felipe. "This versatility means that as digital agency they have the skills to tackle any challenge. I am excited to be part of this environment learning meaningful, hands-on skills."
James Cotton, founder of Onespacemedia commented, "Felipe came with the highest recommendation from the Head of the Design School at Anglia Ruskin University. Strong links with local educational institutions are crucial for forward thinking agencies who have a vested interest in attracting new talent and contributing to the industry by helping to nurture the next generation of designers and developers."
