We’re excited to welcome graphic design student Klara Block who has joined the Onespacemedia Internship Programme at our Cambridge studio.
Klara is coming to the end of her degree at Anglia Ruskin University (ARU) and has already built up an impressive body of work through voluntary work and side projects, including a book jacket design for Harper Lee’s ‘To Kill a Mockingbird’ which was shortlisted in The Penguin Student Design Award.
We first got to know Klara in 2017 when she took part in an initiative with Onespacemedia and ARU to respond to a live design brief to help students think about their work in a commercial context. Klara produced some outstanding work and we were delighted when she applied to join the Internship Programme.
Klara will be learning the ropes on a range of projects across life science, finance and investment, research and academia and software and technology as the agency continues to cement its specialism in these sectors.
James Dellar said, “Klara has taken on several voluntary projects throughout her studies and it has really paid off. She's very talented and I’m looking forward to helping Klara to develop her design skills in a commercial environment and to realise her full potential.”
Klara commented, “I'm very grateful for the opportunity to join Onespacemedia - they have such an impressive portfolio, high quality of work and incredibly friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable team. I’m excited to work with them to develop my career as a designer.”
