Next stage of evolution for luxury furniture brand

Onespacemedia launches a new website for high-end furniture retailer, Jo Alexander. Building on a long-standing relationship, we have evolved their digital platform to reflect changing consumer habits and new digital trends.

Our partnership with Jo Alexander began three years ago when we built their first website. Since then we have been steadily adding new features to respond to changes in their market and evolution across the digital landscape. This long term relationship has given us a unique insight into Jo Alexander's business and the online behaviour of their customers, allowing us to optimise the user experience to deliver greater results.

The site has undergone a major cosmetic overhaul, with greater emphasis on imagery and a fresh colour palette, elevating the prominence of Jo Alexander's exclusive product range. There has been a huge increase in visitors browsing the site using handheld devices with more than 30% of Jo Alexander’s customers browsing using tablets. The new designs include optimisations for mobile devices including retina-ready assets. Deeper integration with popular social networks allows visitors to share and bookmark product pages and integration with ratings service Feefo allows customers to leave and browse honest feedback on the quality of Jo Alexander's products and the company's level of service.

Over the next few weeks the site will benefit from further enhancements including product recommendation features and automated marketing emails based on customer browsing/purchasing habits.
