Onespacemedia was recognised as one of the leading agencies in the East of England in Business Weekly’s New Year Honours ‘Image Makers’ awards for 2015. In our second appearance in the chart we jumped four places from joint-sixth in 2014 to second spot in 2015.
The Image Makers category covers a wide range of disciplines including PR, marketing and design and Onespacemedia was the only agency in the list that is purely focused on digital services. In an article announcing the top ten agencies, Business Weekly explained some of the criteria used to identify the top performing companies:
“Our leading image makers – spanning every realm of design, marketing, PR and communications – share three essential common factors: 1 - they listen to clients so they understand requirements; 2 - they deliver the message in a straightforward but striking manner; 3 - they communicate with the correct media in an effective manner.”
The article went on, “Endemic in that mix is that the very best of them manage their clients’ expectations well; what do they expect to achieve and, given competition and the context of the broader marketplace, how realistic are these objectives? An ongoing benchmarking process is also essential to communicate and maintain the power of a brand, even if the initial message has to be tweaked a tad.”
Founder and MD of Onespacemedia James Cotton said, “The Business Weekly award crowns a fantastic year for Onespacemedia. The East of England continues to build its reputation as a creative regional powerhouse and has now earned the right to compete with London on quality and impact. We’re thrilled to be named amongst the best in such a thriving agency scene.”
“This award is a recognition of the thinking, creativity and hard work that the Onespacemedia team puts into every piece of work that emerges from the studio. Defying convention and pushing boundaries ensures our work is unique and our strategic focus ensures that our work has the desired impact - generating big results for our clients.”
The Business Weekly Award joins a list of accolades for Onespacemedia in 2014 when we were rated the top digital agency in Cambridge in The Drum’s Independent Agencies Census, the top agency in the region in The Drum Digital Census, and we were shortlisted for a Lovie Award for our redesign of the Churchill College website.
