About Imperial Innovations

With a focus on societal and economic impact, Imperial Innovations develop and commercialise technologies developed by Imperial academics. The company works exclusively with Imperial College London to develop, protect and commercialise novel technologies through licensing to established companies or forming start-ups. Imperial Innovations' work in some of the most competitive technology and science sectors to take novel academic ideas to market.

Imperial College London is a world-leading university focused entirely on science, technology, medicine, engineering and business. The company are a subsidiary of IP Group plc, a globally renowned developer of intellectual property-based businesses.

Formerly a single entity, the company recently split its operations into two companies to reflect the diversity of its commercial activities. Touchstone Innovations, a technology commercialisation business focused on technology generated within the Golden Triangle, has become the parent company, with Imperial Innovations dedicated to commercialising technology developed at Imperial College London.

We were appointed to plan, design and build the new Imperial Innovations and Touchstone Ventures websites. The new website showcases Imperial Innovations’ proposition and expertise through a streamlined information architecture and navigation system - structured to efficiently deliver content to key stakeholders. The website’s cross-device experience has been elevated by re-implementing the site’s responsive functionality to deliver a first-in-class mobile and tablet site.
